Flower Baskets on Main Street is a community beautification project that features colorful, blooming, pollinator friendly flowers in baskets that hang on light poles in the downtown district of Placerville, from June to September. The Flower Baskets on Main Street project assists in preserving and promoting the historic, cultural, social and economic vitality of the downtown district. The flower baskets enhance the streetscape and instill a sense of community pride within all who live, work and shop on Main Street.
The flower basket project is made possible through our partnership with our friends at Mother Lode Rehabilitation Enterprises (M.O.R.E). Each day, M.O.R.E.sends a crew out to water and maintain the baskets through the hot summer months.
The Flower Baskets on Main Street project would not be possible without the support of community partners, organizations, city government, and individual contributions. Perhaps you would like to be a partner in this project and join the list of community donors. It's as easy as clicking on the link below.
Placerville Downtown Association seeks donations from the community to sustain and grow the Flower Baskets on Main Street project. You can donate online through your PayPal account.
